Psomagen’s single-cell and spatial technologies are designed to accommodate the many variables of customers’ research needs. Our dedicated team of scientists have years of experience in these technologies and a commitment to delivering the highest quality of service. Psomagen has expanded its end-to-end solutions for single-cell and spatial workflows to our NGS, long read, Sanger, and microarray services. Psomagen can be your single provider for multiomic services. We are thrilled to announce the expansion of our center of excellence and invite you to come by and see for yourself.
Our labs are Certified Service Providers for 10x Genomics’ single cell applications, including 3’ and 5’ gene expression, immune profiling and ATAC library preparation. Psomagen has also added support for 10x Genomics’ HT and GEM-X chemistries.
Additionally, we have expanded single cell capabilities to include Parse Biosciences. The Parse single cell approach utilizes combinatorial barcoding to label cDNA within a cell. This instrument free method better handles large cells and supports cell/nuclei fixation and long-term sample storage to reduce batch effect in longitudinal studies. Parse also provides a lower cost approach for capturing 1 million cells in a single run.
To improve performance of cryo-preserved, antibody-labeled samples and tedious nuclei isolations, Psomagen recently deployed the LevitasBio LeviCell EOS system. The LeviCell EOS utilizes levitation to improve sample quality and success rates of even the most difficult scSeq experiments.
Our current roadmap seeks to expand in-house production capabilities to include BioSkryb ResolveOME workflows in Q4 2024. This partnership will include an investment in new equipment and talented people - bringing high quality single-cell services able to meet the scope and scale of any researcher.
We first added spatial biology with the 10x Genomics Xenium in the summer of 2023, as one of the first US-based contract research organizations to achieve Certified Service Provider status. With the Xenium, Psomagen customers can conduct single-cell imaging of cells that remain in their native tissue environment. 10x Genomics has added segmentation markers to their portfolio and Psomagen has adopted this workflow to deliver the most current tools to our customers.
Xenium 5k RNA panels for human and mouse arrived this summer, offering transcriptomic discovery at enhanced depth and breadth. At the same time, 10x Genomics’ new human immuno-oncology panel with nearly 400 biologically relevant targets has been added to Psomagen’s supported protocols. Researchers can now delve into cell-to-cell communication in ways only dreamed of in the past.
In Oct 2023, Psomagen added the NanoString CosMx Spatial Molecular Imager, facilitating high-plex insights at cellular and subcellular resolution. CosMx is a powerful tool for both discovery research and targeted RNA and protein studies. NanoString’s recent launch of 6K-plex RNA assays has given scientists the opportunity to delve into cell identification and mechanisms of action at unprecedented depth.
Continuing to expand the our menu, Psomagen expanded spatial capabilities with the 10x Genomics CytAssist earlier this year, facilitating whole transcriptome spatial sequencing. With the addition of Visium HD reagents, it's now possible to capture the whole human or mouse transcriptome at a mind-blowing 2 µM resolution! Visium HD opens the door for pure subcellular resolution data at discovery scale. Verify HD findings with downstream CosMx or Xenium and demonstrate true single-cell resolution for your results.
